Our Story

A community centre with a purpose.

Greaves Square has been part of the Kings Norton community for many years, providing a familiar local place where people can meet, take part and feel welcome. After years of uncertainty, we restored the building and reopened its doors with a renewed purpose to serve the people who never stopped needing it.

Today the centre is managed by Jahsar Association CIC, a registered not-for-profit Community Interest Company made up of a retired social worker, a teacher, and three dedicated volunteers. What brings us together is a shared passion and a firm belief that everyone in this community deserves a space where they feel they belong.

Our aim is simple: to make Greaves Square a useful, welcoming and active place for the whole community.
