Our Main Space

Main Hall

Our largest and most flexible space. The Main Hall is the ideal function room for a birthday party, christening, fitness class, workshop, community event or celebration, with spacious parquet flooring, full toilet facilities and everything you need included.

A quieter and more compact space for small meetings, interviews, training, workshops and group sessions. Set up in a classroom-style layout with a projector available. Everything you need for a productive session.

Frequently Asked Questions

Before you book.

The Main Hall is £30 per hour with a minimum 3-hour hire period. A refundable security deposit from £100 applies, refunded within 7 days if there's no damage, and a £10 opening fee applies each time the building is opened or closed. Concessionary rates are available for local residents and registered charities.
10 large tables, 8 small tables, 90 chairs, male, female and disabled toilets, a reception area and free Wi-Fi are all included. You'll need to bring your own cutlery, plates, cups, tablecloths and bin bags.
Yes, a refundable security deposit from £100 applies to bookings, depending on the size of your event. It's refunded within 7 days of your hire date provided there's no damage. If damage to the premises or equipment exceeds the deposit amount, you may be asked to cover the additional cost.
1 week or more notice: 20% of the total price (deposit retained). 1 week to 24 hours: 50% of the total price. Less than 24 hours: 100% of the total price. Changing your date requires cancelling the existing booking and making a new one.
The commercial kitchen can be added to Main Hall bookings, priced between £20 and £50 depending on the level of use, perfect for catering, community meals and food events.
Yes, a 24-space car park is available on site, with additional disabled parking at the main entrance.
Yes. Everything is on one level, with accessible toilets and baby-changing facilities throughout.

Yes, on the grass area only. You'll need to supply your own generator and appropriate insurance.
Alcohol is only permitted if approved in advance by the Board of Trustees. Let us know at the time of booking if this applies to your event.
